The Presidential Election…

Well, it didn’t turn out how I wanted it to, yet, it was expected. Not hoped for, not wanted…but, it’s done. I am so glad the election is over. I heartily disagree with anyone who says that our current president is doing nothing and all that other garbage that is being said. Do I think he could have done more? Maybe. Do I like everything he has done, or agreed with everything he has said or done? No.

But, I have realized in my life that unless I am walking in that other persons shoes, I really have no right to judge them at all. Every president inherits previous presidents good and bad decisions. But, what most of us don’t think of is that the president is not wholly responsible for all the decisions made. We have the Senate and the House who are also responsible for those decisions. Bottom line here is that if we do not all work together to make things right, then we all lose.

Even though in some ways I would love to move out of the country for a while, it is my duty and obligation to do my best and make the best of what is headed our way. I also believe that there are many opportunities that will be available even though we may be led into a depression. There are many things to look forward to, and I hope that even with all the troubles that are headed our way, there are equally important blessings and good headed our way.

Keep your heads up, and look for the good. Use Pollyanna as an example…or even Anne of Green Gables…I know..girly stuff, but, they have simple but profound ways of looking at life and making the best of what they have.

No go out there and find Good in the World and in your Day to Day Lives!
