lds-film-festival-20101The motto of the festival is: “The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth.” (D&C 93:36).

We are looking for intelligent stories and films that deal with spirituality in a universal way. The stories may deal with Gospel issues, however, this is not a requirement. Light and truth can be found in every aspect of life.

We are also looking for entries demonstrating intelligence, spirituality, originality, integrity, and technical excellence in their approach to the subject matter and motto of the festival.

You have all the freedom you need to express something important, something unique, or something personal. You can produce drama, comedy, animation, documentary, or whatever you like as your style or genre.

No foul language, sexual content or graphic violence will be permitted. All submissions must be in English or subtitled in English.

All entries will be judged on content and storytelling ability, artistic and technical proficiency, and adherence to all contest rules.

Let it flow!

Molly,

There are a lot of great films to choose from! I would definitely try to make it to the 9pm Thursday (January 21) showing of The Book of Jer3miah, the first LDS internet TV series. Here’s what the New York Times had to say about it:
