As any of my friends know, I like clothes pretty much where ever they come from, as long as they are cute. But, several years ago, I realized that I could save TONS of money and have clothes that lasted for more than one child’s worth of wear and tear. My sisters are the fashionista’s, and only shop (or primarily shop) at The Gap, Old Navy, and of course CHILDRENS PLACE.

Once I figured out how much I was spending and how much I could save or get more clothing for what I was spending, I jumped on board. Last spring I bout my 8 year old 3 dresses at Children’s Place for the same amount as it cost me to buy one dress (at all the other places). My son got a Sunday outfit, 3 pairs of pants, two shirts, underwear and a vest, my oldest got a pair of shorts, sandals, 3 shirts, a pair of pants, and the my youngest got 3 pair of pants 2 pair of shoes, 3 shirts, 5 or 6 pair of shocks, 3 dresses (mentioned previously) and a doll all for less than $225.

Girls can be hard to shop for, and there are two outfits that we purchased that have really paid off for us…One was the spring dresses, my oldest has worn them for a year, and they are the most adorable dresses! The second is some brown pants with orange and pink stripes (yes, it sounds hideous to me to, but, they are very cute) and a shirt that we call the butterfly shirt, it has oranges, browns, pinks, and all kinds of bright colors on it, in swirl type patterns that remind me of a butterfly. Our youngest loves to stand out…she loves that outfit, but, its getting snug…time for a new outfit to replace it!

I actually need to make a run to Children’s Place to get pants and shirts and Sunday shoes for the youngest, and shirts, socks and Sunday shoes for the boy. This is one of the best times of the year other than right before fall to get great deals on the cutest clothes for kids. I would love to hear from my readers as to where they like to shop the best!
