Food Storage Tips

For many of us, actually sitting down and creating a food storage plan, seems not only difficult, but, costly and time consuming. Several women have shared tips on how they do their food storage, and although many of us know a fair amount, we don’t take the time to put all the pieces together to actually move forward with a plan.
Kymberly Mellen interviews various Mormon (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) women about their efforts to build a stock of food storage. The LDS church never wants to be alarmist about economic and financial hardships, disasters, BUT it does want all its members to BE PREPARED.
This video shows some really great tips, and ones that we should all take into account.

Hi Molly- with the economy like it’s been going, I’ve been doing some research on food storage options lately and found a company that seems to make it pretty easy–it’s freeze-dried meals that don’t take up much space and don’t require cooking (except for adding water and heating). Since I’m no cook–seems like a good fit for me.
I haven’t tried any yet, but I’m requesting a free sample. Anyway, just thought I’d let you know.
Oh- forgot to mention! The company I’m looking into is called Tomorrow’s Harvest. They have a pretty helpful website at http://www.tomorrowsharvest.org
