FootPrints of Faith

After today, Brooke Walker narrated the piece. I always love watching the pieces that come in between the sessions, and following the last session of Conference. This special today was very moving.

I have loved Janice Kapp Perry for as long as I can remember. Seeing the story about her last piece of music, and the story behind how she received her acceptance letter from President Hinckley, I had so many emotions…what a beautiful and touching story.

Another story that really touched me was of the young man who only had the use of his one arm. As I write this, I have forgotten his name (I believe his last name is Ellert) but, none-the-less, I will not forget his story. I will not forget the spirit that filled my heart while watching the young man, nor the story of his Bishops son, who came out one afternoon with his arm in his shirt, and when asked what he was doing, he told his father that he was being Porter. (oh, see…I remembered his name after all!)

Very touching stories!

Listening to others exemplary of faith can strengthen our very own as well. My life had been personally touched by those saints whose lives had been devoted to the gospel despite of the many oppositions around them.
