I have been thinking of Missionaries lately. Not anyone in particular, and not any situation in particular. The basic concept and the gratitude for their service is what I have had in my thoughts and feelings. How many times do we send out missionaries of any age, and really grasp in our hearts what they are doing for others?

Someone mentioned to me that missionary work is not always just the converting of a certain soul, but, the example, the service, and the desire, conviction, and heartfelt dedication to the Lord. Wow! I had not thought of missionary service quite like that…yes, I have thought of missionary work as a desire for some….service…and conversion, many other words come to mind when I think of missionaries or missionary work, but, all those words wrapped into one…it just isn’t something that I have thought of.

Missionaries need support. Future missionaries need support. Face it, we all need the support of others in our lives. How do we develop the Christ-like LOVE that we need in order to be true Missionaries of the Lord?

Ponder…that thought. Pray. Read your Scriptures. Talk to family and friends. Be True to Yourself. Remember, we are all here to make it back to live with our Father, Mother, Brothers & Sisters.
