Tom, Christ was crucified for all our sins. The Atonement is for all of us, which is what allows us to All live eternally. I do believe there are different degrees of glory, and yes, Temple work does play into that. If you would like more information on what Mormons believe LDS.org is a great place to start.

Molly, since you believe the same thing as Elder Holland, my question is still the same. Since you testify that “only by relying wholly upon His merits, mercy, and everlasting grace can we gain eternal life”, I assume you mean that there’s nothing one can add to “his merits”, which is what all Christians believe. But do you also believe that one must do temple works in order to merit eternal life.
