Not sure that I have ever divulged this to anyone but family, but, my first Christmas being married I got an awesome gift! (In an unexpected way!)
I got up on Christmas Day and got things moving, Grandma Lillie was up and ready to open presents, Bill was up, and our little baby was up barely! We were all opening gifts, and I was so excited to see what was in this huge box, but Bill made me wait…I had other things to open first. Once I was allowed to open this big box, I dove right in…it was heavy!
I saw the outside of the box…it was one box inside of another, and the outside of this box had a picture of a little office heater…needless to say, I was less than enthused! so, I quit opening and set it to the side, thinking that was it.
Apparently it wasn’t it. Nope, I had to endure opening up this stupid heater, that I did not want, and thought was a dumb gift. I really didn’t want this gift…and apparently, he was getting the idea. I tried to make him happy and I opened up the box, and to my surprise there was a brick or rock in the bottom of the box with a smaller box on top. Hmmm….this looked more promising, and I felt like an *bleep*! But, when I opened it, I found jewelry!!! Yes, my thoughtful husband bought me jewelry!!!!!
That is when I should have remembered that my hubby likes to tease, and he likes giving surprises! Even now I sometimes forget! But, I haven’t had any heaters or rocks since!! lol

So…Men, yes you…I know I have several men who frequently read my blog…Go to Target and find something nice for your wife! No heaters, unless that was specifically on her list!
