Recipes: Every Jello Recipe You Could Imagine…

by Molly on June 30, 2008

How many times do you wish you could find that Jello recipe that some one brought to a pot luck or that a relative or friend made?

My mom has always made one type of Jello Salad. What one you ask? We call it Green Jello Salad.

Green Jello Salad

1 lrg box Green Jello or Lime Jello

1 lrg can Fruit Cocktail

1 lrg container Cottage Cheese

1-2 Bananas

1 lrg container Cool Whip

Drain the fruit cocktail juice, and then just mix everything together. It is better if you refrigerate it for an hour or so before serving, but, hey, Jello Salad is good no matter what!

My Grandma used to make jello almost every Sunday. She made it with lots of stuff…take any kind of Jello you want and add any of the following: shredded carrots, banana slices, pears cut in half (with grated cheese over the top), fruit cocktail, any other kind of fruit that you can think of to add to Jello. I always looked forward to Grandma’s Jello. Grandma did alot with just Jello and fruit, but, Grandma also did all the really fun ones too, like the layered and ambrosia jello recipes.

Here are some fun recipes to try at your home:
