Security Breach: Your Identity May Have Been Compromised

How many of you have received a letter from a corporation, medical facility, or educational institution indicating that they have had a breech and that your information may have been compromised; however, there is no need to worry no further activity has occurred.
How comforting do you find that?
So, when you do receive a letter notifying you of a breech, which is more likely to happen than not. What, should you do to defend yourself?
This is something that is very serious, and many people live in denial or really don’t worry about it much for one reason or another. This is truly sad, and one of the reasons why identity theft is soprevalent. I thought today was a good time to share some resources with you that I consider important. One of the reasons for me doing so, is that I have friends who have had their identity stolen, and had she not have been as fortunate as she was, she could have lost a great deal more than she did.
